Your cart is empty.The Kwikee Miniature Rectangle Door Switch Kit by Lippert Components works with all Kwikee electric step products that require a miniature rectangle (magnetic-type) door switch. Switch will mount to the door frame with two (2) screws and has a sensor with two (2) lead wires.

The white mini was replaced in kind. Little more expensive than the black. But the black does the opposite. Even when you reverse the leads. Don’t make the same mistake as I did.

From trial and error this information will help you. There are two types of switches. "Normally Open" or "Normally Closed".Depending on what steps you got determines what switch you will need.If you need normally open then you will need to purchase the Black Kwikee #369299.If you're not sure I recommend getting both this one and the black one.

La bonne description du produit soit la position de l'interrupteur qui est mal indiqué "N.C." (Normalement fermé) ce qui n'est pas décrit dans la publicité de l'article que l'on à besoin.J'ai réussi à le savoir en lisant les commentaires quelle position était pour l'interrupteur 905312 en lisant les commentaires des clients. Donc il a fallu que je retourne l'autre commande.

Worked great, this is the white open switch. I originally ordered the black closed switch first but sent it back. Make sure you know what type you need.

Installed the product, reverse polarity occurred. Motorhome kwikee steps came out when door closed, steps retracted when door opened.

the description of this switch is misleading. it says : fits most Kwikke steps'' it does not.. this switch is a normally closed switch.. Most Kwikke steps require a normally open switch

3 Stars for the confusion:I had purchased two other magnetic switches from Amazon that were incorrect. I then purchased a switch for test purposes only ( I knew it wouldn't fit) but it had screws on it where it could be set to N/O or N/C. I connected this just to find out for sure if my setup called for a N/O or N/C switch. After setting the test switch to Normally open , my RV steps work as they should, Steps in when door closed and steps out when door open. Don't get happy yet !!!! I then ordered a Normally open switch from amazon and it did NOT work correctly (door closed steps out, door open steps in) I ordered another thinking I got a bad switch and the second Normally open switch also did not work and functioned the same as the other. After getting upset I contacted Kwikee and complained about the confusion. I assured then I needed a N/O switch but the ones amazon were sending me on Kwikee behalf did not work. Kwikee was kind enough to send me both switches and assured me the N/Closed switch is what I need. the reason why is stated below.HERES THE REASON FOR ALL THE CONFUSION: If you have an RV 1999 or older, with series 32 steps, you need the switch listed above (part #374198 must be a white in color) any RV year 2000 or later, with the same series 32 steps will need a N/Closed switch Part# 369299 must be Black in color) The steps on all model RV for years are referred to as series 32 steps. However, in the year 2000 the control panel that operates the steps was changed starting in year 2000. This is why there is confusion with these switches. When they change the control board in year 2000, they then went with black magnetic switches. if you have a white switch with an RV 1999 or older you need part # 374198, if you have a black switch with an RV 2000 or later you need part #369299. Hope this helps.

While the switch works ( and probably works well), the DESCRIPTION is in grave error - the switch DOES NOT work with all Kwikee steps! This switch is normally CLOSED, while the switch on my Kwikee turns out to be normally OPEN. The result is that if you use this switch ( at least on models whose parts list calls for a #905306) you will have reversed operation - eg door closed, step OUT, door open, step IN.Had the description also accurately informed as to whether normally open or closed, I might have researched the matter more, and not wasted $20+...so check out your part number and/or switch operation before buying!
