These bowls are very well-designed and well-made. They are big enough to prepare a salad in, and attractive enough to serve it in as well. Made of lightweight, strong melamine that won't chip or shatter like porcelain. Overall excellent! If they have any downside, it's that the gloss surface scratches easily. Don't use sharp or pointed metal tools in these bowls.

I didn't realize they were plastic because they look so nice! They are a great bowl for popcorn or a watermelon bowl. Pretty big. These are great because they shouldn't break and very sturdy. Easy to clean and so nice for the basic white bowl for serving. I will use these a lot.

I didn’t realize these were going to be this big. I was thinking of salad bowls you’d eat out of. To be fair, the description does say they are serving bowls. They are substantial but not ridiculously heavy and are the perfect size to serve a family and/or guests.
