Bought this for my 2014 Honda Accord and it worked great. The ride feels the same as the stock struts and it only costs a fraction of the price. Note that you'll have to use the mounting kit that comes with the strut, as using the original Honda mounts will prevent the top bolt from fitting.

Not many companies make stock replacement struts for the 8th gen Accord. I used Tien lowering springs with them. My Accord is sitting just right. Not too low. Very aggressive stance.Doesn't bottom out. Doesn't bounce. Very firm but comfortable ride. One problem. I installed one rear side without any problem. When I started assembling the other rear side. the strut has a "bump" where the spring isolator sits on the spring seat. This kept the dust boot from properly mounting.Thinking it was a defect, since the first didn't have this "bump" I sent it back and had another shipped out. VERY quick and prompt service from both the seller and Amazon. The replacement was the same. I contacted KYB and they said that's the way it was supposed to be.I had to install everything, then wrestle the boot over the clip that holds the it to the spring isolator.

I checked numerous outlets for new rear shocks. Everyone had the SAME part number,byKYB.I purchased, via, Amazon. Honda took the old shocks off and TRIED to install the purchased shocks. They didn't fit! The shocks had a spacer welded to the upper shaft. This didn't leave any threads to secure the top of the shock to the tower.I purchased Honda shocks and they came w/out the spacer. Obviously, fit perfect: at twice the price!I was disappointed, but I know it wasn't Amazon's fault. This will not change my opinion of Amazon.JF
