Make sure you tighten the top nut that the label says not to mess with. I never touched it and it came apart while driving. They work good and ride smooth. When it came apart the washer was lost.

Great ride. I bought quick strut kits from AM Auto Parts as they were much cheaper. They turned out to be Leacree struts, which failed within two weeks of install (and 3rd set within a year). I had to send all four strut kits back as they couldn't handle city driving and the gas seals failed. KYB is the supplier for Toyota, from what I understand and these struts ride like I expected. Prius rides like brand new (and quiet). I recommend replacing springs if you are going to do this, as they are probably close to their lifespan as well.

KYB is the best, works great like OEM! What more needs to be said?

So far So Good. It was a big job for my 2008 because the video installation from kyb shown was not for a 2008 prius. AFter I figured it out, they went on with no problems.I only gave it 3 stars because the video they show for this Prius is wrong, otherwise I would have been 5 stars

Purchased these to replace my original 2007 Toyota Prius struts which after 90k of original miles decided to sent any and all shocks and vibrations directly from the road into my body. After replacing these, I noticed that it felt as cushy and toyota like as the original ones when they were new. Perfect fit, easy install, and so far as good. Used them for 1000 miles before writing the review.I reused the rubber parts in the rear struts simply due to how new they looked but if you want peace of mind, i'd suggust for you to change them out as well.

The shocks fit and functioned as expected. Look and feel good. Too bad it takes four hours to install because of the Prius engineering design!

I did some online research and these were the shocks of choice. They're installed and we have driven on them for 4 months and they ride fine.
