Not as good as the original Honda struts (a flat at the top of the rod instead of the better allen key socket).

I purchased these parts for my 2012 Honda CRV and brought them to the shop for installation but they're WRONG parts and not compatible with my 2012 CRV. I was so disappointed that instead of saving money, I spent more money and more hassles. Beware of this untruth ads that it will fit to your 2012 CRV but they're not. I'm returning this parts and never buy again.

Quality shock. Pretty generic install instructions on the shock (what to take from your old shock, what KYB provides). But worked thru it and got everything installed - and I'm a bit of a hack wrench.
