Your cart is empty. The KYB Gas-a-Just monotube shock absorber has additional performance advantages over the traditional twin-tube design: It can instantly, automatically adjust to your performance needs and never experiences fade due to aeration. The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

I installed these on my 1966 Ford Fairlane. Ive rode in armored personnel carriers that had a smoother ride. Can’t imagine why they would call them gas “adjust”. The only thing that adjusts is your kidneys after riding on these. They’re stiff and they don’t get any better after 5000 miles so don’t think for a minute that they will do better after they’re broke in.Do yourself a favor and buy air ride shocks. They may be a bit more pricey but they’re 1000 times better than these pos.

High quality. Pay once and be done with it. I started with a pair of Monroe shocks that lasted 200 miles onnth front of a classic car. Complete waste of cash.Previously purchased pair of KYB shocks installed on the the rear still perfect after 15 years.

I used these for my old 66 Fairlane. The front end used to float up and down over bumps with the standard Monroe shocks I had. Now the car rides Much better and is stable over bumps and around corners. These KYB shocks made a huge improvement in ride, handling and comfort quality.

Might be fine on a modern car or for track use, but for my 1972 AMC Javelin they amplify the small bumps a bit too much. I'll soon be replacing them with the KYB Excel-G, which is more of an OEM shock,

KYB works great, nice ride. Way better than the Monroe that I used to think so highly of.
