Will be buying an upgraded design from a different brand these pieces comes apart as they are supposed to stay together, so the strut will have premature failure because it doesn't have protection from the elements

This did not work with KYB 341403 Excel-G Gas that was designed for Tribeca. The hole is much smaller than the rod it supposed to go into. That is the reason I gave it 1 star because it said it fits Subaru Tribeca.

Strut boots were difficult to get to stay on the bumpstop. A little glue was needed to help keep them form slipping off.

No exact match to original but seems to work fine. It is a cheaper plastic than original equipment but should do just fine. Seals fine over the absorbers by kyb at first questioned the length but actually seems to cover more than the one parts.

The KYB SB107 is the recommended strut boot for the 2002 Honda Accord Excel-G rear strut. So I ordered a pair of SB107 boot kits with the KYB 341258 Excel-G struts for my EX V6 Coupe (for a rear strut job). The photo suggests you get a single black accordion thingy. What you actually get doesn't match the product photo. The SB107 actually consists of a black bellow (dust cover) and a white bump stop. Okay no big deal. The quality of the materials is good. Installation instructions tell you to first push the bump stop into one end of the bellow. That was easy enough. Then you slide the two connected pieces on to the shock absorber shaft. Problem is there is a metal collar on the Excel-G shock absorber (can't remove it). The bottom hole of the SB107 bump stop is large enough to slide over the metal collar. But the top hole of the bump stop is too small. So I had to enlarge the bump stop top hole on my drill press so I could slide the assembled SB107 past the collar and on to the KYB shock absorber shaft.Now that it is installed in my Accord, seems to work fine. I have to subtract a couple stars since I had to do some machining to make it fit.
