The Cold Steel Trail Boss Axe is one of the most popular axes on the market. In our opinion, it is one of the finest-cheapest axes you can buy. It's not a $200 Swedish axe, and we wouldn't recommend it for permanent exterior fitment on your vehicle because of the wood handle, but it's a great camp axe and an excellent chopper.
The only problem - Cold Steel doesn't make a sheath for this great tool - so we did.
Our kydex sheath snaps on to cover the entire head and shoulder of the axe and is extremely durable. Tension can be fine tuned with the set screw.

it clicks into place quite nicely. Cold Steel Trail Boss is a very popular axe, and this seems to be the best fitting sheath for it. You don't want your nice sharp axe edge willy nilly bouncing around, cutting things up in storage, or in your truck bed or car trunk, or garage, etc when not in use, or in transit, so get this sheath to protect your axe and your surrounding environment. It fits nice and snug. Pretty much a must-have, a valuable investment if you have a trail boss axe. It's a well-made, well-fitting kydex sheath, good material. Very happy with it.

This sheath fits my Cold Steel Trail Boss axe perfectly. Very rigid kydex and good price. Has some decent mounting options as well. Definitely worth it if you have a Trail Boss

A perfect fit for the cold steel trail boss axe. Protects the sharp edge so I can toss the axe in the back of my truck without worrying about damaging the edge or damaging anything else.

No frills, just a solid sheath. Fit is good, goes in with a nice click and I can't shake it off. -1 star as it takes a little practice to get the sheath on, but overall it does exactly what I wanted it too.
