I have purchased many Kyser capos over the years for my guitars and ukuleles. Tried other brands, but I always go back to using Kysers, They never break, do not damage my instrument and are easy to use.

Music teacher recommended this, kid says it is great. I do not even know what this is, but if no one is complaining about it - then 5 stars it is!

It's hard to find nice capos for ukuleles. My daughter has two of these capos, and she really loves them. They are stiff at first, but they break in pretty quick. They all look a little different, so it's kind of a fun surprise to see what it looks like when it comes. They add such a fun pop of color to her ukulele, while still looking elegant. My daughter has a Cordoba 20TM-CE Tenor Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Ukulele, and it fits great.

A capo has two jobs to do (1) fixedly hold down a fret so as to effectively raise the instrument’s pitch by a few semitones and (2) do it without getting in the way of the hand that holds down the strings for the chords. Most capos for six-string guitars seem to be designed by folk who understand this. However - every ukulele capo I have seen seems to think it is enough to do the first job without doing the second one — EXCEPT for THIS one!!!Make no mistake —- I always make my best effort to avoid _needing_ a capo. I try to learn to play the chords as they are in whatever key I have to in order to get the song best into my vocal range. But sometimes, that key has a chord that my hand simply refuses to take the right shape for. In those situations, it helps to have a capo that does the job without getting in my way. And this is the ONLY ukulele capo I have found that does that!!!I can wonder why all the OTHER ukulele capos are designed so wrong —- or I can be glad that I finally found THIS one that is designed RIGHT.

It works well and does not get in the way like some other capos. I've always found Keyser capos to be good.

Vorneweg: Ich bin begeistert. Fazit: ganz eindeutige Empfehlung.

I have purchased several of the Kyser Quick-Change Capos and didn't know how good they were until I bought one that wasn't a Kyser but looked just like them and for half the price. What I found is that Kyser is not only easy to use, but holds up over time and I don't have to be too careful with it. I found a capo on Amazon that looks just like a Kyser and when I received it, couldn't tell the difference UNTIL I used it for a couple of weeks. The spring mechanism (which I'm sure has a name but I don't know what it is) separated from the clamp after a short time. Initially, I could place it carefully on the neck of my ukulele. But soon thereafter I noticed it wasn't even muting the strings. It went into the trash! I say Kyser all the way!

I like this capo a lot. It is the least obtrusive capo I know of and does not interfere with my hand movement at all.
