Initial impression was the job looks daunting because of the small screen and the tendency for the laptop manufacturers to use lots of sticky, hard to remove tape when installing the original battery.The reality, they supplied all of the necessary tools. The old battery was not difficult to remove, not a lot of tape encountered, and the new battery dropped in place easily. The toughest part was removing the old connector from the laptop, it was a little cranky but I managed to get it off without bending any pins. The new battery connector installed easily.The laptop recognized there was a battery change and the calibration for the new battery happened on its own after a few charging cycles.Bottom line, a way easier job than I expected and I now have a fully functional laptop. 👍.

I was able to install the battery. Screw holes weren't precisely like the Lenovo battery, but close enough to kind of stretch the batter the couple millimeters more needed. The battery wires were a little long but there is enough room to curve them a little. But they are pretty stiff due to plastic insulation but I was carefully able to using the screwdriver without damaging anything else.The directions only really help with battery break-in and helping with some troubleshooting. Fortunately, I didn't have any issues. Computer started up just fine. The only issue with the break-in is that we're suppose to stop charging at 95% and not go down below 5%. But we aren't supposed to turn on the computer while charging. So I wouldn't know if I get to 95%. I'm hoping that going to 100% might be ok. I have never timed charging to 90% before. I'll just do my best. Maybe turning on the computer isn't too bad either. Just letting you know it's a bit of guess work to properly condition the battery.The installation instructions are way too simple -- basically not helpful. I had to consult a YouTube video where a tech showed all the quirks of a batter replacement. The biggest difference is that there is double-sided black tape on the underside of the battery for this model. You cannot remove the battery by just pulling it up. You'll damage key, very thin plastic pieces with wire paths in them. It's VERY important that you remove the tape first. Fortunately, Lenovo was very smart in making the removal easy without damaging anything.How you do that is by looking for clear tape tabs on either side of the battery. Note where they are positioned. Slowly peel up the tape and pull horizontally away from the battery. The black very elastic tape peels out from under the battery. IMPORTANT: You need it to install back (or buy 5mm double sided tape). After the elastic tape snaps back to your hand, immediately try to unstick the tape flat. I wasn't able to do that for one side. I'm not sure how that'll affect things yet.

Battery was easy to install. However, after installation, it started shutting down my laptop after running for a couple of hours. It became apparent it was faulty, probably a bad heat sensor in the battery. I returned it for a refund and went with a different manufacturer.
