This stir plate is supwer powerful! It has a large area for you container to accommodate larger volumes. The stir bar rotates at up to 15000 RPM. It has a timer on it so you can set it and walk away. It has a toggle switch for power, and has a press button for power. It has dials for the RPM and the time. It has press buttons to start the timer and the speed. I haven't actually read the instructions, so I could be using the buttons wrong. I use this for making lotions, soaps, and other cosmetic products. It is not a heat plate stir plate. It is just a stir plate. This is a high quality stir plate for all of your laboratory needs.

I’m happy with this magnetic stirrer. I don’t frequently use lab equipment so can’t really break down precision the specs. But I can say it is easy to use as far as adjusting RPM, time and direction of rotation. I’m impressed with the speed and the responsiveness of the controls. More so impressed with the magnetic strength, that stirrer really sticks and spins well. I’ve been using this to mix ejuices. I was a little hesitant at first because the viscosity of the mixture but this stirrer had no issues at all mixing a 50vg/50pg mixture. In fact it turned my mixture white as it mixed it so fast, took about 24hours for the mixture to clear up. I have a feeling it would have no issue with 70/30 or dare to say 100% VG as powerful it is. For the average person this is probably all you’ll ever need. I find it quality made and built to last. I think for equipment of this quality the price is fair. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives but falls under the “you get what you pay for” list. The best bet is to buy it right first and no need to upgrade. I do recommend this magnetic stirrer as it is easy to use, powerful, and well made.
