you can place the magnetic stirrer bar in a beaker, or other container. Place the container on the platform of the electromagnetic heating stirrer, and then turn on the switch of the electromagnetic heating stirrer. The magnetic stirrer will generate rotational force to drive the substance to rotate quickly.

you can use these to stir a very visqus liquid while using the hot plate on and they work really well, you even use the magnetic stirrer in homebrewing beer. PTFE is a good material for this – it’s inert to most material and can be boiled. The finish is very smooth and glossy with no obvious flaws that liquids or solids could enter. The stir bars is smoother vortices with other stir bars.

Either from bad storage or high Temps, the stirrer rods were mostly demagnitized and would not spin.

Received the pack in a very timely manner. Decided to try the 2.36 inch spin bars for my projects. Each spin bar was tested (a total of 6) in liquid wax and soap mediums, where all performed beautifully. The strength of the magnets, within the spin bars, were receptive (as expected) to the spin magnet of my hot plate, and the bars withstood the heat as well without any warping or deterioration. Furthermore, the spins were fluid without hiccups (no interruptions throughout spinning). The bars were easy to clean and ready for reuse. All of my liquid mediums were homogeneously mixed - the bars did exactly what they are supposed to do. Will repurchase again, when needed - as all spin bars do eventually need replacement.
