Fit as intended on my 2005 polaris scrambler, however causes the machine to misfire when applying throttle. Will start running fine for a short time then cuts out again. Replaced with Polaris brand and ran completely fine. Do not waste your money when you have to buy the correct parts anyways.

My original CDI box was acting up when the bike warmed up; the engine would sputter, run poorly, and eventually die. Upon install of the "Labwork CDI Box Igniter," the engine will now run and not die. However, the timing is inconsistent while the engine is idling, sputtering ever so slightly and then returning to normal, over and over. Additionally, while ascending a long grade, approximately 100 yards or so, the engine will slightly bog until the accelerator is applied. If the throttle is opened completely, the engine will misfire, as if the engine timing is thrown off by full throttle application. These symptoms began approximately three weeks after the unit was installed. The bike still runs, just not as well as it did prior to the problems with the original CDI unit. I plan on purchasing an OEM, used CDI box and keeping the Labwork CDI ignition box as a spare. I don't have the $440 to buy the new OEM unit.I believe the Labwork page claimed "High Performance", relating to their CDI box. My personal experience would not consider it so.08/07/23: After five months, the "Labwork CDI Box Igniter" still is functioning as stated, above. I've recently purchased a new "RM Stator" CDI box to see if the additional digit ($139) will improve the timing quality on my bike. My next review will involve the RM Stator CDI.

Had issue with 2006 Polaris Scrambler, would start fine but would die when giving it throttle. Initially thought it was the carburetor or fuel pump but eventually figured out it was the CDI Box. I was hesitant to buy an inexpensive replacement (Polaris OEM is about $300) but it works great, immediately solved the issue. Very pleased with the purchase.

The first one didn't last but one week, but the second one has been working for a few months now.
