Easy to mount and super sturdy. No drilling needed. No slipping.

Ok, well, I really wanted this to work, but friends, be wary. I put it up and really yanked on it to be sure it was in place... It is over a stairway, as I needed headroom in my basement to do pullups. I think I was doing a set of leg compressions and then pull-ups up and you guessed it... it fell, and I hit the stairs hard. Luckily, there was no head injury, but I can't really say it's safe. I didn't break a rib but felt it for 2 weeks. I can't say this is a smart move...unless you can screw it in which this is not designed to do.

I don't think I would have been able to assemble it if I didn't have a general idea to begin with. Very sturdy and I feel safe using it in my door way.

Got this a few weeks ago and i It works exactly as described. We have an older house and wanted to make sure we didn’t damage the frame and this does the trick. Though if you’re more than 220-250 lbs you may have to watch when trying it out the first few times. The manual says holds up to 660lbs but I believe that depends on your door frame and the type of grip this Device has on your door.Would recommend.

Sturdy and easy to set up. Holds my weight easily at 200lbs without the extra support brackets. Tho definitely use the supports brackets if doin more strenuous workouts. Better safe than sorry.

Later edit: while the product worked great for a while, it fell after about a month. It seems to have slowly gotten less gripped onto the wall. It seems I can just put it back up again, but new buyers be wary to check its integrity every so often and adjust it as necessary to keep it from falling. This product worked great. It’s very stable! I was worried it wasn’t going to be so stable especially because my doorframe’s flat area was thinner than the width of the wall pads of the bar. But it works great! If you’re w seeing the width of the wall mounts of the bar is 5cm. (Couldn’t find that info anywhere)I would’ve given it 5 stars but the instructions for installation were difficult to decipher and left me guessing a LOT. But a guide for a similar product on YouTube and some common sense helped.

Very little assembly is required for this bar. You just rotate the ends to extend it into your doorway, lock the bar, and you're good to go.Now I've seen people trying to swing on these bars to prove their sturdiness - don't do that. You can get hurt, and these bars are meant to support you doing pull ups, not full on gymnastic swings.
