Does what it says it does. Measure the size you need before ordering to get the correct fit. Mine was the right size I ordered and fit fine to fix my old, broken lamp.

I like this and very well made and value is ok. It's to repair a ceiling light fixture, whereas, I had lost the threaded lamp-rod, but although, it's a bits long for it , the shortest one...i think I can cut with dremel tool and sand bevel carefully the edge to get it too work. It's a good thing to have on hand , in case a light type fixture needs repair.

Nice assortment of lamp parts--useful for repairs, or swapping out bulb holders (the switches can wear out), etc. The brass-colored (actually, zinc-coated) thin locknuts are nice enough to be visible. The hollow all-thread lamp tubes come in a nice selection of lengths (threads are well machined). Most obvious shortfall: does not include any inside-threaded coupler/sleeves. Still, a useful parts selection and good value.
