Most coats are polyester, theycan NOT take a spark. I died this one blue it was easy to do and now I use it where I'm doing things that are creating Sparks it holds up very well would buy another one for sure.

Bought this for some college chemistry courses after misplacing my old one in a move. This is much thicker and sturdier than my previous one. Which is both a good thing and a bad thing. On the one hand it feels like it'll last damn near forever, on the other it can get quite hot wearing it for a few hours. The pockets are big and useful and the slits to access your pants pockets well placed and convenient. The knotted buttons are great and easy to use. Never had a coat with that before but I quite like them.I bought the 42L size and am about 180cm tall. It fits great in the torso and hangs down the legs a bit longer than most, which is what I wanted. My only complaint is the sleeves are a bit longer than I'd have liked. Fixable easily enough by rolling them up but I would prefer it if I didn't have to do that.

It’s a good lab coat, but because this is more for men than women it’s a little tighter on my chest but nothing worth complaining about. I’m a college student taking a chemistry lab for the first time, it passed being 100% cotton and satisfies that requirement. I would say that if you’re a woman looking for one, this is a good option if you’re ok with cuffing the sleeves and having a longer than the knee coat

Really didn’t like the product, the sleeves are uneven and baggy, so is the whole coat, very loose and baggy uneven, one side of the sleeve is bigger than the other,it gave me hard time to put it together evenly and iron it, very disappointed, I will not recommend it.

This lab coat looks great when the fabric stays where it needs to and is ironed. If using for Cosplay, definitely get some fabric tape to secure the lapel. If using for an actual lab coat, the fabric knot buttons work well, but can come undone if you pull on the sides a little too hard.8/10 would recommend this labcoat

Not sure why people say it runs small, it runs slightly large. The lab coat seems to be almost, but not quite, a full size too large after shrinking it down in the wash and the drier at high heat setting. I could have ordered the next size smaller and it may have been a little tight but a closer fit. I suppose slightly too large is better than too small though. It is not a fancy lab coat but it is capable and the seams are good quality with no fraying. Reminds me of the coats students wore in organic chemistry in undergrad. Probably not the quality of lab coat I would want to wear if I were a doctor seeing patients, but as a lab jockey it gets the job done.

Pleasantly surprised by this very practical design. Medium weight all cotton construction (even the coat closures are cotton toggles), with 3 pockets plus hand slits for reaching through the coat to access pants pockets. Sleeves cover the wrist but are loose fitting and open.Sizing runs true to suit jacket size (I wear a US men’s 44). Note that for the coat to fit correctly it should be larger than your shirt size! Amazon’s sizing chart assumes a tight fit as if buying a shirt. Better to use your true jacket size if you know it.

I ordered it at 2am and it came the next day at 6pm with free Prime one-day. The cloth is thick and heavy. I would have really liked it, but it was way smaller than what was advertised. I am 6'0 260lbs and I usually wear an XL shirt, but prefer a 2XL for the extra abdominal girth. It said fit as expected and so I ordered the 2XL. When it came in, the shoulder width and arm length were perfect, but I could not button it anywhere as it was too tight! I've read other reviews that the coat shrinks after washing, so I just decided to return it.

Solid twill coat. Knot buttons are easy to work with. I wasn't sure at first. Fits as expected. Looks great!

The coat fits very well, though the buttons are not at all what I expected. They are not your standard coat buttons, but instead are large lace knots that you have to wrestle through the slot. It's hard to explain, see attached photo, they are far more difficult to work with for me anyways. I'm sure I'll get used to them eventually.

Nice high quality lab coat that is made of a nice thick cotton. The material is thick enough that it isnt see through, but it isnt a sauna (which is important b/c it can get hot in my lab especially.) I wear a 46L blazer size and I bought the 46 sized lab coat. It fit perfect. With that said, I would tell the guys to just pick their blazer size. The only thing that would make the coat better would be getting my name embroidered on it.******Update (6.1.15)*****Ok, so it has been almost a year wearing this lab coat daily. After spilling all types of chemicals like HCl, DMEM, and several other chemicals on it several times and "super-bleaching" it on a weekly basis, the coat finally failed. It shredded in the washer after a extreme bleaching and developed several large holes on the back so I am going to order another right now. Considering the amount of bleach that I was using on a weekly basis to sterilize and clean the lab coat on a weekly basis, I think that this is a nice sturdy coat. If you are using it in a more clinical setting, it is nice and heavy duty, but may be a little thick for you. If you are like me and get dirty in a biochem lab and want to keep your personal clothes clean, this jacket will do the trick.Considering the amount of money this coat has saved me by keeping my personal clothes safe from chemical spills, I do not mind purchasing a new one on a yearly basis!I recommend this coat for people that do serious work!
