Actual books, full of good quality blank pages. Could absolutely be used as journals. Nice size, attractive covers, quality paper and binding. Sturdy covers too. Very nice.

Much more than expected! I ordered these to use for a prop in a local theatre production. I was surprised by the weight of the box 📦 upon arrival. Once opened, the surprise was the quality and the usefulness! They are actually not “just for looks”, but have beautiful binding and lovely paper pages inside! Can be used for journaling, writing memoirs, etc! Will order again as gifts for friends!

This is a very classy set of blank books for display--and because they have real pages inside, they're more than just for display. They can be used for journals, for lists, for doodling--for anything you can think of to write. The covers are quite simple and a soothing soft blue and will fit in any decor. The books are larger than an A5 size and just under an inch thick. I even like the slipcover box that comes with the set. The price is very good for the quality and size of the books that come in the set. Five stars!
