These cables never arrived and they more expensive than the local yarn store. They are a great product.

Good quality and smooth cable. The swivel works very well to keep the yarn from tangling. I wanted stainless steel cables for their durability. This product did not did not disappoint! Great feel good quality cables.

These work with my Knit Picks and Knitter's Pride interchangeable needles. They're as high quality--if not higher--than the Mindful swivel cords.They're heavier, so they hold up well to large items like blankets. The hardware that comes with them is better quality than the other brands I’ve purchased, both in function and appearance.As my other brands of cables slowly kink or break, I’m replacing them with these.Highly recommend.

Quality is good, Length 39" , Ease of use, Appearance is good, you get 2 swivel cords nylon coated stainless steel you can use 1 cord to knit baby blankets with the width of 30"*30" long in Aran or Double Knitting these are a must have to add to the lantern moon knitting needle set great price on Amazon. And with a cord connector connector 2 39" cords together and you can make double bed width blankets size 78"wide and 72" long.

These are similar to Chiaogoo cables (which everyone seems to love) except these work on a wide variety of other brand tips, and they have a swivel join.They will work with Knit Picks, Knitter's Pride, Lykke, and some others.They're not limp as a noodle (limpness makes sliding your stitches on a cable difficult) and despite being stiffer than some plastic cables, they have no memory and tend to be right where you want them to be all the time. Instead of fighting with you like plastic cables, they seem to know where you need them and be there.They make circular needles more easy to use.I usually use Chiaogoo needles because the cable is so nice, and I bought them before these cables came out, so I already had them.But Chiaogoo doesn't have a wide variety of tips, just the stainless and bamboo. Other makers have a much wider variety of materials available in their tips. So, I use these with my Lykke and Karbonz sets instead of the plastic cables that came with the sets. You know, the ones that keep trying to curl up.

I got these because I read they'd work with my knitter's pride dreamz interchangeable tips and they do. Let me tell you it's a level up experience! I don't even need to use the tightener for them to stay, the cord not wanting to hold bends makes starting a new work so much easier, and the swivel feature helps so seamlessly. I do like that you get 2 cords in a pack. I bought another set in a different length because they are so good. I think I shall retire my old cords to be stitch holders.

These are awesome, and I'm so glad I found them. I was delighted to find that there are TWO cables, as I assumed it was only one. I'm 20" (length) into a 45" wide blanket, and am finally not fighting with the cable thanks to the swivel in these. If I need any more needles I will totally try Lantern Moon's. I mostly use Knit Picks interchangeables (in pic) and can confirm another reviewer stating that they're compatible. I also have a couple Knitter's Pride tips, which are identical to Knit Picks, so presumably those will work, too. Although I gave this 5 stars, I'd like to point out that the 40" set I received was not only opened (there are tears in the box, the adhesive of the envelope won't stick), but it's missing the cable pin. I've already requested a replacement, so it's not a huge deal, but still worth mentioning. Being that it isn't an issue with the product itself, it doesn't seem fair to dock a star. This set specifically was sold by "BestSource OfficeSupplies" and fulfilled by Amazon. (Pattern: Whispering Wolf by Aimee Alexander; yarn: knit picks heatherly sport in seaglass)

The name of the item is spelled Lanter instead of Lantern twice on amazon, but is spelt right on the package and looks exactly like the cord set I got from lantern moon and it fits into my interchangable sets. Perfect length for the afghan I'm going to make

hatte bisher immer steife Seile, aber die werden seitdem nicht mehr benutzt. Nichts verdreht mehr, es ist viel einfacher damit zu stricken und sie passen auch super in die Knitpro Spitzen

Sadly two 60" cables are actually 50" long that is 10" shorter than advertised on product page and box labeling. Email sent to Lantern Moon support received reply: "The length mentioned on the cords is the total length achieved after joining the cord and needles. Hence, 60" length will be achieved after joining 5" needles to the cord"

I was so reluctant about these, I wanted a swivel cable but didn't have any confidence that they wouldn't be "snaggy" as you loaded your needles with the stitches. They are a tiny bit snaggy, but I think that's the nature of the beast that you trade off in favor of the swivel. It wouldn't be able to swivel if it was a snug fit.The cable stoppers and key are works of art. This just made my heart sing when I saw how beautiful they are.I love love love that these come in a two pack and are so affordable. I gotta say they are giving my beloved red lace cables a run for their money, esp since CG is taking their dear sweet time releasing their forte version.
