A great solution to lift the back of your laptop which takes up very little space, will allow air to circulate and position the laptop better ergonomically.

I love this stand! I use it with my personal and work laptop for my at home use around the house or for when I'm out and about to help with keeping my laptops cooled. I like that they are magnetic so if the surface you are using is metallic, they won't slide around either and even without, they do a pretty good job of not shifting too much, if at all.Highly recommend and would buy again if I knew a friend or family member needed/wanted something like this.

1st photo shows the silicone sitting crookedly - this caused the stand to slip. 2nd photos shows how the silicone is supposed to stick out a little bit evenly to prevent the stand from slipping. Will have to return

My husband's laptop computer has the vent on the underside of the computer, so it gets really hot. This simple, genius product lifts the laptop at an angle to allow the heat to vent away. It is also great for better position for typing. The two balls cling together and go straight into his laptop bag to take to work. His colleagues have inquired as to where he got these, and of course, he gladly shares the find. We love that it doesn't take up any space. Just be sure to position the support balls so they are not directly over the exhaust vent on the underside of the laptop. My husband actually uses the balls upside down from the photo shown. He says it gets better stability for his laptop positioning. He loves this handy, problem solving item. No over heated laptop. Clever fix!

I thought these things were magnetic, they aren't. They do however keep my laptop propped and cool so I'm not complaining. They serve the same purpose my block of wood does at home and are much more attractive to travel with. My colleagues aren't as impressed with my block of wood as they are with these dorky things. Go figure. 🙄

When I opened the package, to my horror, the box it was in was smashed into a state of what I would describe as a card paper ball. Other products that it came with was totally normal, it was just this stand that has went through some MMA fight with the warehouse staff.To my relief, the content unveiled was completely fine. Two smooth to the touch hemispheres that stick together nicely with some mild magnets (others would use the word weak but I won't because it does the job pretty decent). The angle that it creates between my MacBook and the tabletop is very comfortable for me to type on and it dissipates heat efficiently. Also, the sightly raised screen is good for my neck and back. Just don't apply horizontal force to your laptop (I mean......you technically do when you type, but that isn't strong unless you're a brute to your own keyboard) or it would definitely fall over because the friction is low.You would have expect less with a $14 purchase, but now it feels like an integral part of my MacBook because typing without it feels a lot less comfortable. And fortunately this thing was designed to be taken with your laptop. Also, with simple cooling solutions like this, I don't get why some people would consider an overpriced hideous-looking laptop fan cooling pad. If you're running an intense task like playing Crysis while mining 20 different cryptos, or your 10-year-old win 7 laptop could cook eggs while you're browsing with IE, I would recommend buying a see-through mini fridge and a pair of wireless keyboard and mouse instead.
