There is a design flaw. It looks easy. Open. Lay dough. Fill one side. Fold dough over and seal. No way! I opened it flat, sprayed lightly with oil and laid a round of dough on surface. Added toppings on one half, folded other half over. The dough slipped off the top half so I had to open it. But when I opened it the calzone slipped through the fold opening. It was impossible to get the mangled calzone back in place. It ended up being a hodgepodge best eaten with eyes closed.Probably best for tortillas or heavy dough.

I use it for pastry. It works beautifully even if my edges are not as good as in the picture it makes a good pasty shape. With any type of pasty, don't overfill. Wish I had had one years ago.

I purchased this Calzone press to make at home and hope to start making mini meat and fruit filled pies in the future.Product works as advertised, very pleased with this product.

Die Pizzacraft PC0406 Formular für Calzone Kunststoff ist die Beste Wahl für mich! Anders die Outdoorchef Calzonepresse grün 32,5cm, die Maße gelten für die Presse mit Griffe gemessen!!! Die Piza Größe ist nur 28cm!!! Der Vorteil liegt bei dieser von Pizzacraft darin das hier der Kunststoff elastisch ist und bei Outdoorchef der Kunststoff hart ist. Ich bevorzuge lieber den elastischen Kunststoff. Deshalb gebe ich für die Pizzacraft PC0406 Formular für Calzone eine absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Be advised, this is a Huge kitchen helper. It says large in the description, and believe me, they are not fibbing. That being said, it works great and seals the dough perfectly when used correctly. Pretty cool for making your own calzones quickly and easily. I even tried to make an apple fritter and it worked too.

Bought it to use at our pizza shop. It works, if you know how to work it, which is easy, you may or may not save on dough.

The overall performance of maker was good. It should come with better directions - more DETAILED. One instance would be to dust calzone maker with flour BEFORE putting dough on it.The MAIN problem was shipping however. I ordered calzone maker on April 29,'14 and didn't recieve it UNTIL May 20,'14! (Too long)! Amazon emailed me on May 4 or 5 saying it was shipped. Then I got email from Winestuff telling me there was an error, that it wasn't in stock, and I would have to wait another week appologizing.I will think twice before future orders, if any.
