Got the box of wood..1 piece was 3 inches wide..the rest were 1 inch to 2 inches wide...not 2 to 4 inches wide. Still alot of wood in box..

Wood was perfect for making coasters. There was very few pieces that I couldn’t use. I would suggest buying to anyone.

As a woodturner who does a lot of small segment pieces, these boxes are 6 star gold to me. The pics and description are very accurate. Some will be cracked, some will have huge knots, some pieces will be a lil fuzzy on and end,,,, It's scrap remember that... If you want a box of clear, knot free, perfectly planed and squared boards cuz you don't have the skill or the tools to do it, I"m sure the seller has those boxes available for you! But what these boxes have is multiple shades of color and grain pattern so you can build something unique. Buy these 3 or 4 at a time and build something beautiful from the massive color and grain buffet these boxes will supply you!

All the wood pieces are 1-2 inch wide, not 2-4 inch as in the product description. Disappointed.Will inspect them all during the weekend and decide whether to return or not.Update: after inspecting most pieces, I found that many are not straight, one side is not smooth. Basically can't make a board out of them. I returned it.
