I wanted some bookends to help keep my son's bookshelf organized to make it easier for him to get books on and off without having the books constantly flop over into a stack versus standing up. These are perfectly minimal and simply do their job without taking up extra space or calling attention. For being plastic, they are also strong and have held up for all of the times that my son decides that they would also make good ramps for his monster trucks! I guess they have multiple uses. The photo I included is with the frosted coating still on.

I was expecting super clear bookends, not opaque ones. They were also supposed to arrive February 13th-18th, but arrived March 8th. I tried canceling the order when I saw they were running super late, but then figured I might as well let them come because I needed bookends and it'd be a hassle to cancel the order.They did come with tiny rubber stopper stickers, which was a nice surprise! But they're not what I wanted or needed for my project, so I'm most likely going to return them.

These work as described. Was looking for a quick fix and these were perfect. The image kind of makes them look like they are tinted, but they are solid black.

After reading some other reviews, I want to point out that these are crystal clear bookends once you can get the film off both sides. Minus one star because that feels like it would be an easy enough fix to stick a "peel here" tab somewhere so it's not a scratch around and hope for the best kind of thing.I found that just picking around the edges will eventually grant you some peeling purchase but don't expect this to just be a breeze. It's gonna take like ten minutes.Otherwise, I think these are great! I actually ordered another set hah the non-slide feet stickers they provide are awesome and keep my books in place :)

These are sturdy shiny bookends that will work great on my shelves. Initially I was a bit disappointed as they looked really cloudy and scratched, but it was actually just protective film. Under the protective film they were beautifully shiny and protected. Some people have mentioned that the film is difficult to get off, but if you gently scratch at the middle it will come off much easier than if you start at the sides. I purchased the laser color which I was expecting to be more like clear, but actually has a bluer tint to it which is very pretty. I also like that they included little grippy feet that you can add to make the bookends more secure.

These acrylic bookends are nice. The acrylic is thick enough to hold the 90 degree angle shape and hold books in place without bending.There is protective film on both sides of each bookend. It is very hard to get it started to pull this film off. The edges of the bookends are slightly beveled but not enough to find a good starting point to remove the film. I spent around 30 minutes removing the film on all 4 bookends.

Bookends (4) arrived in a sturdy, attractive box (that was a little tricky to open!), suitable for gift giving. The bookends are as described: very sturdy, very adaptable probably for about any decor. I also realized that if I wanted a shorter book end, I could just turn it around and use it with the long side as the base. The adhesive feet that are provided are excellent quality and really do make the book ends non-slip. When I first reviewed these bookends, I thought I had mistakenly received frosty colored. When I read another review I realized they were frosty because they had a plastic sealing on them. Though it took a couple of minutes for all 4, I was able to remove that plastic sealer by scratching a corner on each to begin and the cover removed very easily. My new bookends are actually clear. Would probably advise the manufacturer to have some clear directions about removing that protective covering. All that said, it is a good product. I will probably order another set. Great value for the money.
