I have several salt guns so know the product. When I got the latest unit it had a problem but seller replaced immediately w/o any issues. Once calibrated this works perfect.

I’ve previously had a red laser for over 2 years with my bug-a-salt, it has been great but finally started to malfunction so decided to try a green laser replacement… I must say if I was getting a laser for a real firearm it might be great but it’s completely overkill for the bug-a-salt. If I get anywhere within 3 inches of the fly with the laser it’s gone flying away. The red lasers will also cause them to fly but if you strategically come from under them it wasn’t an issue as long as you shot quick.Another issue I encountered with the green laser is I cannot get it to aim nearly close enough to the shot pattern for proper range shots. About 2-3feet is the sweet spot at most. The best I can get the green laser to focus in is about 4-5 feet not quite sure why as it’s the exact same design as my previous red laser. Either way the laser itself is great fun I can shine my neighbors houses half a mile away and see the green beam the whole way at night or shine hundreds of feet away during the day seeing the laser! But a bit much for flies haha. One other plus is I can entertain my chickens from 50 yards away while cooking out with the laser now.

Screws are jammed in the part to tighten it up and they won't tighten or loosen up. They was kind enough to send a replacement that works.

I've enjoyed having and using this gun. It works well against houseflies and bees/wasps outside. I learned that it doesn't kill stink bugs (because their shell is too hard), but I can blast them off the ceiling or my patio umbrella and onto the floor/ground and then get rid of them. The gun is sometimes a little hard for me to pump, but it's good exercise for me.

Look, if you are here reading reviews you clearly want this. And you should. It ups the cool factor by 100% Plus, it works great! Easy to dial in at target range. Chicks will dig you. Men will envy you. If you have a beard, you need this!

Was looking for better system to target bugs/flies with my Salt Gun. This works Great! I use it outside or inside, the flies and occasional hornets are NOT impressed…

Install was super easy but thought the double sided tape to be a joke. Luckily had some good stuff in the garage. Don't try to install like mine unless you fill the gaps with tape and have better tape. This position was perfect for my fingers. Trial and error.Came with an extra set of batteries and double sided tape which I thought was nice.Removing the batteries without adjusting screws is possible if you shift laser forward more.Adjusting wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, maybe mine has a slight defect because it's like "rounding" instead of just going straight left and right or straight up and down. Like it has to try and curve.But either way, after about 40 minutes of fine tuning that awkwardness and adjusted for about 3 feet, accuracy is spot on.I was already getting pretty good with this thing, but now hip firing with 98% accuracy instead of about 35% lol. Even aiming down sights I'd be honest and say I was getting about 85% accuracy.If you're worried about price, it's beyond reasonable for what you get. If you can afford a $70cad fly swatter, you can afford a $50 laser sight for it lol.Killing hundreds of flies within 15 minutes or less is now achievable. I'm a happy camper.

Fits well, works well but it shouldn't cost more than $30 Canadian.
