My orange cat is obsessed with laser pointers. She will spend literal hours pawing at the drawer where I keep the laser pointers, and when I'm working, she will sit on my keyboard or block my monitor in an attempt to get me to stop what I'm doing and start a laser pointer session. So when I got this toy and turned it on, she went ABSOLUTELY NUTS. She very happily left me alone to do my work for a full 20-ish minutes or so while watching/stalking/chasing the laser from this, and only came and meowed at me in distress when it automatically turned off so I would turn it back on lol. My productivity is way up since getting this for my cat, and I now consider this a work from home essential.

This is a fun toy for my cats. Functionally it's well designed and it keep the cats entertained for a while. The laser dots are brighter in the dark or in the evenings. My cats tend to bump things around, this toy is designed with a heavy head on an almost weightless base. It can be tipped over very easily. Have to glue down the bottom.

This was such a great find! To start, this automatic laser pointer is rechargeable using a cord, which I love. It's so nice to not have to constantly switch batteries out. The laser pointer has multiple settings (fast, slow, and fast-slow mix) to keep it interesting. The different speeds are also nice if you have cats with different energy levels. I also appreciate that, no matter what mode is on, the laser pointer is very quiet when running. Worth noting, you may need to put the laser pointer on an elevated surface to get more area for the laser to cover, but I just set it on my kitchen counter and was good to go. As a pet owner who frequently works from home, this toy is a lifesaver. Great way to be productive while also making sure your pets are entertained!

This laser toy provides hours of entertainment for my kitties. They chase the laser pointer seemingly endlessly (or until they get too tired). It can be changed from two points (one dot and one mouse, which looks more like a UFO) to one. They prefer the one dot and are only mildly interested in the small mouse outline. The laser points around the room with slow and then quicker movements. Tough to tell who was more entertained: my cats, or us humans.

Our cat loves lasers, so I play laser with her multiple times per day. This automated cat laser is great to give her something to chase, without me having to manually shine a single dot with my laser pointer. She really likes the laser mouse shape over the dot. Both move together and she will look for the dot in on bright sunny days and then look to the side to find the laser mouse shape which is what she is always after. To give her even more exercise, I hold this automated laser and exaggerate the movement faster to really make her run further. The motion sensor still seems to work fine if I'm also moving it. Then, when she gets a little tired, I place the toy on the dining table so she can play with it in automated mode for awhile, and I can do other things (cook, clean, wash dishes, etc.)It takes a standard USB-C charge (cable only provided), and it lasts for hours. There are 2 buttons - top to turn on or change the mode from fast, slow, and mixed. Bottom button controls the laser mouse and / or dot. Once on and motion activated, it stays on for 15 min. While 15 min is a bit too long for our older cat, it will shut down and then it will sense motion again later.The specs don't say what class laser it is, but compared to some of my other lasers, it doesn't look too strong. Hopefully its a Class 1 safe laser which is under 5 milliwatts - which should be safe for cats. I prefer to keep the toy located high, vs on the floor, so the laser shines down on the floor. The down angle means our cat will be mostly looking down on the floor and not straight at the laser at eye level for her. In any case, I still monitor her playing and I've tended to shut it off when I'm not around to observe her chasing the laser.Bottom line, great random patterns - love the motion interaction with cat because it keeps her very interested and she gets a lot more exercise. 5 starts!

Playing with your cats or dogs can be fun, but you can't always give them the attention that they deserve. Like being at home when you have to work or take the kids to school or just having to go shopping. I wanted to try this out for the 3 cats that I have, and I wished I had more space for them to move around due to my home being small. This thing stands about 5' inches tall, which is not really big, but it packs wide and long of a laser for your pets to chase after. I have tried different locations like on a coffee table, end table, tv stand, and a audio rack. No matter where I have put this thing lol, the laser goes up and down the wall, and around on the floor.. Imo I think you need like a 15x15 size room a good amount of space for your animals to get a good run around, which is good and give them plenty of a work out.The laser has different modes Fast, Slow, and Fast and Slow mixed, and has two settings for a 2 hour delay timer and every 5 min delay timer to go off and back on again. The laser also shows a regular dot, or a little mouse shape on the ground in which you can have both show at once or could have one or the other. It also has a rechargeable 1200mah battery, which you use the type C cable to charge it. Instruction manual is also included, which is pretty easy to read and understand. I still will be trying to place this cute toy for cats around my house and see how they respond to it.
