I liked this a lot. I think think of it being too much better. Maybe the self leveling could have more range. It requires you to have the the device on a leveled structure by not too much than say 5 degrees off before it fails to level. However that wasn't a problem 90% of the time.

Laser won't stay on but 5 seconds and go off. I've changed the batteries to Energizers and it still works the same. This is my 2nd one, the 1st one worked for a yr and stopped working.

Arrived with the leveler inside crooked. Complete waste of my time and money. Also wasted time that I separated for construction. Not accurate at all. Pointless.

We’ve always struggled to find a way to hang a grid of pictures that is evenly spaced, but the laser level makes it quick and easy. The lines are sharp and easy to see, and the leveling of the device is perfect. The product is functional, very easy to use, and seems to be quite durable.

This would be great for an experienced user, but there is nothing on the level to tell you if the line is 180 degrees or not. That being the case, you would need a tripod or something to make sure what you are hanging isn't crooked.
