I really like the design of these sink drain strainers -- and for such a good price. They seem very sturdy, with good, substantial metal, they fit well, and I like that they have a handle that can be used to lift them out of the sink for cleaning.I'd originally bought these because I'd somehow managed to lose one of my wire mesh strainers; thinking I'd inadvertently dropped it in the trash, I quickly bought these to replace the one I lost. But I found it the next day, so I figured I'd return these. But as soon as I saw their design and quality, I knew they were a fortuitous purchase. They'll be easier to clean than my wire mesh ones, which get icky easily but clean with difficulty.

I live in a 1950s house with a mixture of old pipes (galvanized, cast iron, pvc). After several plumbing problems, I am trying to catch as much stuff from going down the drains.This sink strainer is exactly what I needed for my 1960s American Standard sink! It fits perfectly and does an amazing job of collecting food. I’m honestly amazed by how much it catches compared to my old strainer—I had no idea how much food was slipping through before! The first picture shows how small the food is that it catches. That stuff has been going down my drains, sitting and rotting causing my fragile pipes to degrade even further. No more!I love the handle, which makes it super easy to pick up and empty without any mess. It sits flush with the sink, so even food from the sides goes straight into the strainer, with no gaps for anything to slip through.This is a two-pack. I'm not sure how long the metal will last or if it will rust but the price is very reasonable and if one strainer last six months, then for the price of a fancy coffee, I can protect my pipes for a year. Worth it for me.I’ve only had it a few days, but I’m already impressed and kicking myself for not doing this sooner. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a functional, well-designed sink strainer!

Not much to say other than they fit perfectly and do exactly what they were made to do. They do not interfere with drain capacity, they look great and seem very durable. 5 stars.

The outer diameter of this product is listed as 4.5 inches but it is in fact just under 4.3 inches. I’m returning it as it won’t keep debris out of the drain which is its main purpose.

We know the ol school strainers that have the round rubber on the bottom side and the knob that goes through the hole into the rubber. They work...till they don't work. And those newer ones you can get at a dollar store that are like a basket- well they are an upgrade from the old school but... they rust easily in my opinion and the food seems to get stick easily and the holes don't get clean after a while . Well, I upgraded to this stainless-steel strainer with a handle, and I love it. Easy to remove from the drain with the handle (who would have thought a little handle would be a game changer!) and cleans easily and traps everything it suppose to catch. Definitely has a little weight; not flimsy at all.-I recommend this strainer to friends and family. Very pleased with these and although I had them a little over a month, I feel they are quality- stainless steel and has a little weight- these strainers should last a long time.

There are other strainers identical to these ones that cost more money.These are the exact same as those, but cheaper. So definitely go with these ones!!! Same product, same quality! Cheaper!!!I am in LOVE with these. I love that the handle is on the side instead of in the center. Moving the handle to the outside frees up valuable room to hold more food scraps and means you dont have to stick your hand into gross food to pull the strainer out of the sink!!!The strainer is made of very hard metal. Durable, medium thickness. It is so perfect. I will be recommending these to everyone I know. A million times better than the flexible silicone strainers and the TERRIBLE mesh strainers that are always ripping/tearing and full of holes.The water drains just fine through these strainers, even when there is food in them.10/10. You definitely need to buy these, and buy this 2 pack for $8. They are the same as the 2 pack for $12. Buy the cheaper deal!

GREAT PRODUCT. Why didn’t I use these years ago. The regular sink strainer still lets small bits of crud pass through into the pipes. Put one in home kitchen sink and one in RV kitchen sink. Fit perfect. The handle makes it easy to remove and clean or to put the sink stopper in instead. I don’t usually wash dishes by running a sink full of water so this is perfect to catch food debris. I just use a tiny amount of dish soap on a non scratch scrubby to soap everything down and then rinse. Saves water and soap. It’s important to keep as much food as possible out of the grey holding tank on RV. This catches every tiny bit and is easy to shake out in the trash andwipe clean with a paper towel. These are well made and strong. Have held up very well to daily use. Wish I had found them years ago.
