I got these so I can latch my two 2ftx4ft table tops together when I want to use them as a single 4x4 table. They were easy to install with the included hardware, and I don't see there being any issues down the road as they apoear to be some good quality hardware

I'll start with, the latch is well built and I trust that it'll hold some weight. If you use it for heavier applications, consider getting longer screws. Now, this installation..... I did this by myself and since the latch is spring loaded, I had a very hard time holding the latch open while trying to place it in the right spot and mark the holes. It got to a point that I was ready to throw it across the room. I really appreciate the strong spring, but without a little direction on how to hold it open and get it lined up, marked, and screwed, it gets 4 stars.
