First off, engaging in solo Breathplay is inherently dangerous … and unfortunately a few design flaws of this hood makes it even more so. So … don’t do it!However, before I get to the design flaws, let me tell you what is good about this hood:1. The basic latex workmanship is good: Even seams, no glue marks, rear zip hair guard, metal studs to anchor the zip ends. My only concern is that the seam allowance (amount of seam overlap) is fairly thin, it could be thicker in order to make the hood more durable.2. The latex sheeting used to make the hood appears to be good: no strange smell or imperfections. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a “latexy” smell. No smell whatsoever actually.3. Sizing is so-so. This is from China. Often times Chinese sizing can be a bit on the small side. I normally take a XL size in hoods made in the UK or Germany. To be on the safe side, I ordered an XXL size. It fits fine. Now for the design flaws:1. The air hole is ridiculously small … less than the diameter of a pencil!2. The air hole is punched right across the seam line of the air bag without any sort of reinforcement. Doing that will run the risk of seriously weakening the seam. (I reinforced it by gluing a round clear latex patch to the inside of the air bag and then punching a bigger air hole.)3. The location of the air hole is way too high on the air bag. When you put the hood on, the location of the air hole is approximately at bridge of your nose, much closer to your eyes than your mouth or chin. The hole should have been punched much lower so that at least some air can enter the hood. Similar hoods that I have from manufacturers in the UK and Germany have the air hole in the general location of your mouth or chin, so that you can engage in some degree of inhale / exhale.Because of the above design flaws, I recommend that if you use this hood for Breathplay you insert a length of latex tubing thru the tiny air hole into your mouth and use it as a breathing tube. That’s what I have done.

Arrived today, and while haven't used in session feel comfortable noting.Quality latex hood, for breath control. No misreading on directions and it works as expected. That said, as some have noted, it's not for beginners. The breathing hole is smaller, and it is extreme.Don't play with this intoxicated, or use for self-bondage, as 1 screw up and you very well are not breathing again.Again, does exactly what it's supposed to do very well,

This is a very yummy piece, the only thing I would change is the zipper. It is a bit hard to get on but taking it off is easy. Once it's on its very comfortable and if you're looking for a very restrictive breathplay hood THIS IS IT. This is not one for beginners new to breathplay. If you're new to breathplay you'll want to make sure you order it with a breathing hole or multiple breathing holes. If you've never done breathplay before you might wanna go for a regular rubber hood to start and go up from there. This is a very high intensity piece of equipment and it is definitely not for newbies! I have had a lot of fun with it since I got it :)
