They send you a non-LP guiro in an LP box. There’s no LP sticker on the guiro and it’s not the same shape or look as the photo. But it’s not a bad guiro IMO. I’ll say 4 stars for the switcharoo

Is a good quality guiro but I feel I paid LP price for an item with no LP logo. Just a regular Guiro that was put in an LP box.

Although the Guiro came in an already used LP cardboard box for a real Cuban Guiro, the Guiro received is not a professional one not an LP endorsed Cuban Guiro, it is more like the 'handmade for tourists' that you find in Cuba; I do not think this Guiro is sold by LP.

I am not Cuban, but I grew up in Miami. I grew up around traditional Cuban instruments and this is a good try. It is an authentic gourd, but I feel that the ridges are a little bit too narrow and the stick is too small. Other than that, it sounds pretty authentic. It is a bit expensive but I imagine finding gourds in today’s world is a lot more difficult. I am very happy that I purchased this item but it is not excellent; it is good, hence the four stars.

It got here at a reasonable pace, the only complain is that it feels too much like plastic to me but my uncle liked it, so that is what mattered.
