Wait.. it actually works??Yes it performs well!!Arrived quickly and assembled nicely in minutes.I was shocked as previous ones I've tried before end up not working but this one did well!!It can suck having to aerate your yard manually but this is the best one that I've tried so far.I liked the soft foam handle and most of all I liked the plug ejection location. The posts can be sharpened with an angle grinder or replaced which is really a plus!!

So far no negative feedback, but we haven’t tried it yet due to the weather in our area. It’s upheld the curiosity of a 3 year old though so that should speak to the durability. I’ll provide a bigger update once we use it. Few things to note is it is easy to assemble but the size is a bit shorter than I expected so taller people may be weary.

This aerator is not awful but the handle lets the tool down overall. If you have a yard with no hard clay or any rocks in the soil then this will probably work okay. However if the soil in your area has clay in it, you will find that this tool will not be durable. It works okay when you step on the top, but it tends to stick in clay. After a few minutes of that I had to stop and retighten the handle bolts due to the large amount of play that had developed. A few minutes after that I had to do it again. I've reached a point where I'm deforming the shaft of the handle by tightening it. The shaft material is made of such a soft metal that it bends and flexes like crazy. The handle comes in two pieces to make shipping easier. That does not make it durable. The bolt holes in the handle did not line up at all. I had to use a rasp to open up half the holes so the screws would fit through. If the handle was one piece, then this would be a much, much better tool. This tool should be sold at half the price, but I would not recommend it.

This is a great addition to your lawn care regimen. It was easy to assemble, had slight play but still useable. It has slots that split and spit out the cores which is a little bit annoying since you will step on it as you move forward or backwards. Even with that, since the slot allows cores to pass through without getting stuck, it is worth it.

This areator tool is pretty nice, I put it together in 5 minutes and started using it. It's very easy to use and isn't hard on your back either. In the description it says to water the ground before using, do it because it works a lot better if you do. My yard looks patchy in some areas and I used it in those areas, so I will be updating this post as soon as I can to let you know if it does what it says. No issues right now, so that's a plus! It doesn't weigh a lot either and the size is perfect for me, just glad it doesn't kill my back!!

works great for small areas. We used a commercial grade rental to do the majority of the yard, but for the small areas that the machine couldn't reasonably get (near beds, rocks, trees) we used this and it's fantastic. the cores are actually bigger than the ones taken by the commercial machine. Surprisingly heavy for a tool shipped through the mail. The spikes can be replaced, though this didn't come with replacements.

I was interested in this novel design, and its promise to make cleanup of the tool easier. I have another similar aerator without the "tapered" cutters.Essentially, there's no difference. You still end up cleaning out the cutters with a stick.Three stars.
