We were re-seeding our yard and had to get a lot of dirt. By using this tool, we only filled in the areas that needed dirt which saved us effort, money and time. It was easy to use and our yard looks amazing!!!!

The fact that the rake is in two different parts allows the mud to go between the parts and is not perfectly aligned. Quite heavy which is not necessary for the job.

My lawn is horrible for bumps and divets. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to fix this and one of the common tools amongst everyone is a leveling rake.I chose this particular one as it was listed at a decent price. At the time of purchase, it didn't have any reviews but I decided to take the chance (There are 11 reviews now - all positive).The rake is solid and slides easily across the lawn, the long handle helps with a lot with this. I used a 50/50 soil/sand mix and it evenly distributed it filling in all of the holes (make sure you cut your grass down to almost nothing).The handle of the rake consists of several smaller pieces that screw together via plastic ends. I'm a little concerned the plastic might not hold up over time but I'll deal with that when/if the time comes.

I’ve been wanting to try out a leveling rake for my new Bermuda sodded lawn. This rake is significantly smaller at 26” than most which are 40”+, so this is ideal for smaller yards where a large rake won’t fit. The larger the rake, the easier it is to get a smooth lawn.This rake is steel and powder coated in a dark grey hammer tone. It folds in the middle for the sake of shipping but once assembled it’s not something you would fold regularly, maybe for the winter. You can also disassemble the handle from its 8’ length if you choose.I’ve only tested it on a small section of my lawn with 2 bags of sand and so far it works well. Because of the small size and the elevation of my yard, I have to level in multiple directions, but it’s pretty easy work.
