If you’re a “do-it yourselfer”, THIS is the answer to keeping sharp lawnmower blades, and no more guessing at the angle! You will need an angle grinder, but a corded one is very inexpensive.

Prior to buying this, I would just eyeball the and and sharpen away. Little did I know that the right angle makes a difference in how the blades cut and the vibration of th mower. After setting it up I could see that my eyeball needs adjustment, the grass looked better, and my mower was not vibrating as much.It is simple to set up and holds the grinder at whatever angle you set it for.Note: it's important that the surface you mount it on is level.The instructions shows how to set it up either horizontally or vertically.Overall, very good deal for those who maintain their mower blades themselves.

I ordered this one because it was one to the few that offered a 2 day delivery. Some were 5 days to 5 weeks, There are a few brands being offered that seem identical for all practical purposes but I was also interested in a color other than black. One of my concerns was that it did not specify whether or not it had ball bearings. Judging from the photos it did appear that it did and it DOES. The rod that slides into the bushing for mounting the grinder its nice and snug. It worked very well and met my expectations. This one was slightly more that the some of others but it did come with a metal blade balancer. It is a keeper!
