I ripped the cord on my 20 year old lawnmower and decided to buy this replacement. It worked great. I watched a YouTube video on how to install the cord and fixed my lawnmower for a very decent price instead of going out and buying another one.

The installation I used recomended six wraps of the recoil disc. I did this and then found thatthe remaining cord was too short. Threading the cord through the disc and housing holeswas tricky and I didn't want to start again, I presently have a portion of the old cord tied to the new.It works but is not ideal.Moral, Take careful measurments before wrapping and threading.

After getting the rope threaded, pull the handle and it cracks. Can’t return it bc I’m not going to take it apart.

It's not a lot of fun installing these but it does work and was long enough to reach the holder on the handle bar.
