NO mounting hardware, No instructions. No indication on how the wire hooks to the throttle adjustor. Good thing I am a Gadget Guy. I can modify it and make it work. IF one is not inclined to make it do, this is just a bit basic to install. Go for a more complete unit. THAT SAID IT WILL DO WHAT I NEED.

Using a spare mower for a field, and wanted to control throttle compared to the vacuum throttle system. Had to modify the wire alittle, but was simple to accomplish.

The control lever is stiffer than I would like and the quality of the plastic is a little rough. As far as I can tell the lever tension is not adjustable.

UPDATED Review: reduced stars due to the plastic guide for the cable slipping loose from the crimped on area. More cheaply made than it originally seemed.It is a well made unit. It should hold up very well. Biggest complaint is that it is extremely stiff which makes it a little difficult to work. Some of the stiffness can be released by tweaking the arm away from the plastic pad.

This product seems to be fragile but so far has worked well. I just have to be carefull when I adjust it, it feels like the handle could break, but so far it has done well

Needed a set of wire cutters and crimps. Not a direct fit for the HF Predator or Hard Built 173 CC engines. But if you got good hand its not much of a issue. 1 hr install tops. Tools needed Lineman pliers/ With Crimper . You will be fine
