I have no experience taking laptops apart or putting them back together. By watching the video I was able to this task done in about 3 hours.The screen came in the mail on time, with the tool kit & in perfect condition. The only daunting part of this entire experience was putting all the screws back to close the bottom.If the fan sounds loud, laptop doesn’t turn on unless plugged in and/or runs slow - make sure you’ve plugged everything back in. Ask me how I know 🙃

It worked fine for 4 months. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. I asked for a refund and they responded that it was out of the 3 month warranty. 3 month warranty is a joke. It’s better to buy from an official Apple vendor. Stay away from this company.

Destroyed a connector on the back of my screen trying to get a stripped screw out. Not smart on my part. Fast delivery, perfect replacement. May seem expensive, but well worth it considering cost of same computer refurbished. This replacement screen is new and cheaper than most pre-owned on ebay. I'm a novice, but YouTube helped me through the fix.

the install was pretty easy and the screen works great but after installing the keyboard backlight and sound won't work at all, does anyone know why?

Told me it was an issue with my hard drive at one "genius" bar took it to another one and they told me it was a "cable" in my monitor. I knew right there I needed to replace the screen. Saved 150$ Thanks.

Overall product worked very well. had a little issue with the video cable connection which they tell you to try out first before full install. not easy to get them connected without seating the the top assembly. first time I put it together fully and started it up there was a rim of normal resolution around a hazy middle. took it apart and re-seated the connector and everything was fine and working well since. good value and would order from them again.

It wasn't too hard installing the screen and it seems to work perfectly fine. I haven't noticed any weird marks or dead pixels and the color matching of the outer shell was spot on.
