Very poor quality print with replacement toner and drum from this company. Printing is faint and difficult to read.Unfortunately I waited until after 30 days so cannot return. I have found that inexpensive drums and toners generally work, but there are some which do not work. I prefer to order replacements ahead of time, but I'm finding that it is necessary to wait until closer to the last minute so that Amazon will take them back if not working.

I ordered this drum for our fax machine because the price was very low compared to an OEM drum. The copies we receive on the fax are streaky & dirty & sometimes barely readable. No amount of cleaning of the drum and fax machine helps. I am now ordering an OEM drum for our fax machine. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. Don't waste your money on this one--order an OEM drum!

This drum lasted less than 4 months. The original was in at least 3 years. wouldn't buy another from here if I had to throw the printer out for lack of a drum!!!

When I contacted Brothers to get instructions for resetting the drum counter their first question was "Is this an original Brother product?". When I admitted that it was not I was instructed to purchase the drum unit directly from them. End of conversation.However, there was a Q&A website that hinted at how to get to a set-up step that permitted resetting the drum counter. After I went through that the next reading I got at the display was "toner exhausted". I shook the toner box a couple of times and was pretty shure that there was toner but the display persisted and I was unable to print anything.Rather than waste time and money I purchased an MFC 9760DW (which has features lacking in the 9700) from Amazon andI am so far happy with that.

It doesn't work with my Brother MFC 9600. Copies are uniformly faint - that is lighter than light. When I switch back to the actual Brother DR400, print density in just fine and the copies can be easily read. Not so with this product. I will return it to Amazon.

I have to order a lot of toners and drums for my companies 19 fax machines and I have had very good results from LD products. You can always count on them to work and be compatible just as they describe. Great company and great products!
