This special compound of poly-vinyl plastic has a very "slippery" surface which works as a permanent dry lubricant to eliminate interleaf friction and squeaking. It also features a small lip to keep it in place. One 20 ft. roll does one cross spring. Liner is less than 1/16" thick.

I'm rebuilding a 1976 MGB, and there are plastic strips between the leaves of the springs to keep them from squeeking. The springs are 1 3/4 inches wide, which is not longer a very common size. These were the only folks who had this size, and the quality is excellent. I was able to finish rebuilding the springs. Service was fast. Springs came out great.
