I have a Rossi R92 in .357 mag. The strap is great quality, but the muzzle end of the strap wouldn’t go around the barrel and the tube or between them. And the stock end of the strap wanted to slide between the lever and the stock

Easily the nicest sling you'll ever purchase. If you care about your rifle you'll get this. The handle up front is an excellent touch. Keeps it positioned on your shoulder for long walks. The ammo slots are nice and snug. This is a must.

So I am one to try to buy what I can from American based and manufactured goods. I did my do diligence for this sling and thought I was doing just that. I also thought that as it was going to take almost 5 weeks to receive it, that it was made when ordered. Almost. It was shipped directly from China. Even had a nice sticker "Made in China". A now longer more diligent search revealed neither was true. I wish Amazon would require country of origin for the product AND the store selling it. Then add it as a search filter.That said; the sling looks and feels nice. It will fit the rifle and function as expected. I'm not hard on equipment and care for things to make them last. This should be no different and appears that it will last for many seasons into the future.

Okay, this is an excellent leather rifle sling with an ammo holder for 22LR cartridges. It is made of durable cowhide leather and comes with a pair of metal swivels and studs. So, basically you have everything you need to attach to your rifle. It is perfect for carrying your rifle and can be used for a hunting trip or on a shooting range. The ammo holder is made of leather slots and can hold up to 10 rounds. There is also a small pouch on the front side to store your small items like your keys, or rifle cleaning supplies. Now, the important thing to note is that it's not a quick adjustment sling. In order to change its length, you have to unscrew a leather strap at the bottom of the sling and move it to a different hole. And that is a bit of a hassle to do, and length changes can be done in increments of about 2 inches. Overall, the sling is very durable and will last for a lifetime. It is good quality, and the leather is very thick and strong, and stitching is straight and accurate. The top part of the sling is padded to prevent your shoulder from hurting while carrying a heavy rifle. And there are a few decorating elements like small leather bowknots at the top and bottom of the padded area of the sling. I really like it, and I think it is worth the money. I would recommend this to anyone.*** TL;DR ***This leather rifle sling with an ammo holder is durable, perfect for hunting or the shooting range. It holds 10 rounds and has a pouch for small items. Not easily adjustable but sturdy, made of thick leather and has good stitching. It is padded for comfort and has decorative elements. Overall, I'd say that this quality long-lasting sling is worth the investment, though adjusting length can be a hassle.
