El forro de cuero muy bien de muy buena calidad ciertamente pero la piola no es cuero y no es de un material sintético resistente, se rompe con facilidad al apretar, eso no me convenció. Piola china.

I recently restored an awesome, vintage, US made, splitting maul that I use quite often to split wood. I of course wanted to protect the new handle and a leather collar wrap seemed to be the classic way to go. This one has worked out great so far. It fit my handle nicely, was pretty easy to install, and of course looks great. It almost makes you not want to use it, but I had to get over that. It has held up really good so far, however it has not yet taken a direct over swing blow. So how it handles that is still yet to be seen, but I'm sure it will happen sooner than I would like. The waxed cord handle also looks great, but it is something that I wasn't sure if I would like the feel of. However it has definitely grown on me and does give me a thicker firm grip area. Something I've noticed is that some people are saying that it isn't real leather. I don't know about theirs and I'm not exactly a leather expert. However, the grain, texture, feel, and smell of mine definitely seems like leather to me. If it is fake it sure fooled me and it most definitely isn't PU leather or any of that vegan junk. If it is imitation leather then it is the best imitation I've personally ever seen. I'm 98.73693% sure that mine is most certainly leather. It is a processed leather that has had a texture rolled into it, and has been dyed, but it is still leather. Now the cord isn't leather. It's just some good waxed cord that is about 1/8" thick. Either way, leather or not, it is still an excellent handle collar and serves it's purpose great. I'm plenty happy with it, I would buy it again, and I do recommend it.

I have used this leather axe collar on my new Gransfors Bruk Small Forest axe and on my Scandi Forest Axe. I also used it on my new Council Tool axes. It works great and has a generous amount of protection for the throat area of these axes.

Grundsätzlich handelt es sich um gut verarbeitetes Leder - dafür den einen Stern.Aber die Größe ist ein schlechter Scherz.Für ein Beil, oder gar eine ausgewachsene Axt nicht zu gebrauchen.Der Stielschutz reicht höchstens für einen Hammer…

Product was mid-range good quality. It did cover the areas it needed to. I'd buy again on a low budget bearded axe.

This is a nice and good looking enhancement to my axe. It isn't proper leather, but it still feels and looks good.
