Thread doesn't feed if you tighten the collar, needle falls out if you don't.

The threads where the housing screws on just slides right off. I kept losing my needle every time I would back out of a thread. Tried different ways to help keep the needle in place and nothing would work. Whomever manufactured these definitely cut corners on quality.

This worked for our project. The bobbin in the handle didn’t fit well and moved around which made the thread get caught. I was able to make adjustments and put in a different plug that would hold it in.
