When I bought these I clearly read the three functions of the lights. However what they failed to make clear is that the bright white LED's are on full time anytime the marker light circuit has power. So if you manually turn on the markers or headlights during daylight hours they light up and at night regardless of whether you are on auto headlights or manually running the headlights, they are on and blinding oncoming traffic. You get constantly flashed by all on coming traffic. Chevrolets forward facing task lighting are supposed to function only when parked during daylight hours. It's unfortunate I like the smoked lens and the brighter lights in general and the sequential turn signals are a nice touch but we can not be blinding oncoming traffic constantly. As per the manual the task lighting should only be running when parked and activated by the bottom button on the headlight switch one push for both mirrors, 2nd push for drivers mirror only, 3rd push passenger mirror only, 4th push turns them both off or putting truck in gear should shut them off regardless of which configuration they are in.

Please who ever is looking to upgrade your Chevrolet Silverado or gmc 2500/3500 buy these from this seller these worked perfect out of the box! stay away from the cheaper ones from other sellers just look at my feedback I've tried 2 other sellers with awful results.

Install takes time but is doable by the average guy. Mirrors are stronger than you think when pulling off. Put a blanket on the ground just in case you drop it

After watching a couple instructional videos on YouTube, took me no more than 45 minutes for both lights. Very easy to install. Loving them. Before purchasing I was skeptical thinking they wouldn't be brught but it's the complete opposite. Extremely bright. Both the amber and the white. The sequential turn amber lights all work and catch a lot of "where did you get those?" On my 24 2500hd. Huge upgrade difference compared to the oem ones. Would recommend.Ty seller!!!
