I can't wait to get my teeth into this project, it is massive but all the materials are available on amazon.co.uk (darice ultra stiff plastic canvas 18 by 22 inches, 12 pieces) and it seems to be a good quality book with comprehensive instructions.

Mary Maxim does not sell all the materials needed to do the pattern. The Ultra Stiff canvas has been nearly impossible to find and in that large a size. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on this project. I did find some of the large canvas but it was warped and therefore useless. Mary Maxim should sell all the supplies for the patterns that carry this name.

This is great! My daughter asked me to make her this castle after seeing this book in a craft store. I've never made plastic canvas before, but I am an experienced knitter and cross stitcher. I'm not finished yet, but this is a very easy project. Includes instructions for a crown and wand as well.Materials are somewhat costly if you don't find the canvas on sale and you need to purchase yarn. Use coupons!
