We recently got a dog, so our vacuum really started to get that dog smell that you can't get out of the filters. We grabbed this filter kit and it was an exact fit for our Shark and was way cheaper than the difficult to find Shark ones.

I was in search of the filters that sit below my cannister on my Shark vacuum cleaner. I saw these and honestly never knew there was a hepa filter down in front. I purchased this set and low and behold, the hepa filter on my vacuum needed changed terribly. Having put these new ones in place, my vacuum has more suction and also the air smells CLEAN while sweeping. No dusty smells.

Our filters needed replacement, and these hit the mark. They fit our Shark and while I don't know that they are as thick as the OEM versions, they are less expensive, fit well, and breathed new life into our vacuum.

Pros: Fit the Shark NV586 31 as expected. Priced well. The HEPA filter is good quality.Cons: The foam and thin filters do not meet the standards of the original filters. As you can see by the photos I've included, the thin filter doesn't have the compact layers of the original - it's not as dense. The foam filter is also a lesser quality. It's not as dense.Overall recommendation: It's not a bad deal. I received 2 HEPA filters, 4 thin filters, and 4 foam filters. They fit like they should and I can switch the foam and thin filters out to reduce wear on the HEPA.
