Good set of extension tubes. The threads are well-machined so the screw together easily. A really nice touch is all of the tubes are marked with their lengths. I have others that are not marked so I had to mark those myself. All of the tubes measured within +/- 0.04 mm as measured by my digital caliper. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the 3 mm spacer. It is just too thin to truly provide 3 mm spacing because its female threads aren't deep enough for another tube or device to completely thread into it. The picture shows the 3 mm extension (left) with the 7mm extension (right) screwed into it as far as it will go. You can see the gap between the tubes. The true spacing provided by the 3 mm ring is 3.3 mm.

The screw threads are rough and I worried that small bits of metal might come off in time. I oiled the threads and worked them in and out a few times and its much better now. So, oil and they are good.

So apparently if an adapter has a misprint they just use a sharpie to smear it, ok not so bad I can live with that, 3 of the rings had marks like they were used but all packagi g was perfect so QC is horrible for product quality. Now for the worst part besides agreeing with everyone on rough or tight threads. I went to seperate the 5mm from the 7mm and thatvwas not going to happen, after multiple attempts even with rubber pads to grip bettwr they were not coming apart. I figured I only need the 5mm to achieve my final backfocus so even with the 7mm clamped in a small vise it was not letting go so it is not worth sending them back as I damaged one anyways so here is my warning...DO NOT BUY THESE M42 RINGS/ADAPTERS/SPACERS.............

The item heading indicates this is M42, in the description it references also M42 0.75mm thread. M42 is generally implies 1 mm.To use as an M42 1mm, two additional adapters are required.The item was well packed, but the 30mm ring was very scratched, which indicates it was packed in that condition.
