Broke my protective lens on vacation, epoxied a clear piece of plastic over it after removing the glass,to work til I got home. This replacement feels a bit stronger and is a great replacement for my broken one. Everything fit great. I am using a first Gen hero session.

The lens fits great. It comes with everything you need however the screw driver strips out very easily when tightening the screws.

Beim auspacken hab ich schon nicht schlecht gestaunt. Werkzeug dabei, neue Dichtung dabei, neue Schrauben, und natürlich das Schutzglas, alles zweimal logischerweise... Also direkt losgeschraubt, das alte Glas entfernt, das neue aufgesetzt und die Session 5 sieht wieder aus wie neu. Die Farbe ist sehr schön und das Schutzglas fühlt sich auch an wie das Original... Die Dichtung schmiegt sich gut an, wenn man alles schön über Kreuz anzieht kann da auch nichts schief gehen 👍🏼 Würde ich wieder kaufen, aber hab ja noch eins in Reserve 😜

Product was a perfect fit. The extra screws are handy and the little screw driver it comes with is fine as long as you got half a brain and understand that your dealing with a tiny screw. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I use three sessions as auxiliary cameras on my motorcycle for my YouTube channel. One is a regular session and the other two are session 5s. One of the 5s doesn’t really like external microphones, so I needed to be able to tell them apart. So now I have a black one, a red one and a blue one.Now I know which camera is which.Great lenses, and the glass is very good. No issues whatsoever.

Thisbwas a great way to not only fix some scratches but give my sessions a face lift and some new life. The color is nice and bright, we will see if it holds up in the sun mounted on my bike.

The tool to the kit comes with is a bit delicate so just be weary of that otherwise quality stuff
