I'm pretty thrilled with my CargoTray. I put a 60 lb generator on it with the exhaust facing forward (away from the trailer), and it is surprisingly quiet inside while running. Seems plenty solid, and my generator is no heavier than two bikes. Very little wiggle/slop in the tray. I have it mounted on the JackIt Original mount that came with our Coachmen Remote 17r trailer. Had considered installing a Stromberg Carlson CC-255 tray instead, but this tray weighs less and makes use of the bracket that came with my trailer.I previously carried a quieter 100 lb generator on a GennyGo platform on the bumper of a larger trailer. Surprisingly, this CargoTray arrangement with the smaller, somewhat-louder generator sets up much less noise and vibration inside the trailer when running. Not sure I would want to carry 100 lb on this CargoTray due to the design of the mount that it sits on. Seems like a lot of leverage against the mounting point on the trailer, and it's the manufacturer's rated limit. But it works great with the 60 lb generator.I have yet to check this, but I believe that this tray will interfere with opening the hatchback on the Jeep Grand Cherokee that we use as a tow vehicle. That seems to be the only significant downside to its use. In retrospect, I think that removing the JackIt bracket (to save weight) and installing a Stromberg Carlson CC-255 might have been the best approach for my situation. However, this one works well, costs less, adds less tongue weight, and allows me to swap the trailer tray for a bike rack. I plan to stick with it.Like most things RV, I am not overly impressed with the quality of the finish on the CargoTray. It has a nice, thick finish on it, but that finish was chipped and abraded away in spots when I received it.
