This is a very cool engineered package that gives off excellent light, easy to use and very efficient. It can be powered by solar, batteries or charged.

Living in Florida and 6-month hurricane season solar everything is a must, and not a luxury. Functionality is great. Comes with cable to recharge. Takes up no room to store and light weight. Gives off light but not a bright high light.

Got these to use in case of blackout. Worked great. Lasted about 1.5 hours on solar charge and then worked great on the AA batteries. Beats the heck out of candles and much more efficient than our old lanterns that ate D cell batteries like peanut M&Ms. How long they last is the question, but as far as I am concerned they already proved to be a bargain.

After the last power outage in our area, (again) I decided to order some new lights. Delivery was quick, and they arrived already charged. Light emitted is VERY bright...but will be good in total darkness. Lightweight and easy to open and operate. Like that they have 3 charging modes. Great small size for easy storage unlike my other camping lights. Will update when I actually have to depend on them.

Great lightweight lantern, with quick solar charging option. A great option to just leave out during the day and use for a few hours at night.Battery life on just solar charge was mediocre. Would be better if there were a way to dim lantern to provide just enough light, thus prolonging battery life also. Amount of light provided is static, not dim-able and enough to rival times square on new years eve.Solar recharge, OR USB recharge, OR battery.Did not use the battery also feature but it has it, currently storing the usb cord in the battery compartment. Perhaps provide a space on the lantern to store the charging cord.
