Worked perfect on a model 700 and 7400 with the Leupold rifleman base. Can use scope and open sights perfectly.

Put on a henry 22 mag. The seem to be very secure and leave great visibility to the iron sights

Bought to mount a Leupold VX Freedon scope to a Savage Axis I XP in 308. It came with a Weaver scope, but I needed to upgrade to be able to see beyond 500 yards. Medium rings were barely tall enough, so I ordered these high rings. The bolt handle now clears the reticle nicely.Rings were a cheaper option to a new bolt handle

These Rings are nicely machined ,have a solid feel to them and they look good on the rifle. These rings give me the height I needed on a model 98 Mauser rifle that I did not want to alter the original bolt handle configuration on. Yes they are high and you shoot with your hear more erect , similar to shotgun shooting , you keep your eyes on the target , and life the rifle to your face , not the other way around. I recommend them.. ,

I have been really happy with these rings. I put them on my Thompson Center Omega with a. The install was easy and they have held zero well with the significant recoil of a 50 cal. muzzleloader. I trust the Leupold brand because I have owned their optics before and their quality transfers into this item as well.I was able to hold a pretty decent pattern with these rings and the Traditions 1x scope. The only reason I have a 1x scope is because in Utah that's all we can use, no level of magnification is legal. I have attached the picture of the two shot group I got before adjusting down to be 2 inches high at 100 yards. It is important to note the crosshairs on the scope are good but they do cover a 6 inch circle at 100 yards. So I don't expect better groupings than this. After getting sighted in I was able to shoot a buck on some public land. The picture makes it seem I shot it on a farm but that's where I was able to haul it after some help from a family friend and his atv. The picture makes it look that I hit him far back but he was actually quartering away so I did place a correct shot.
