Life changer, awesome and beautiful charger, I used to charge at 1.2kw/hour, now it’s 3x faster! What use to take 30 hours is now not even 10 hours! Just added a nema 6-20 outlet with two phases (248volts between phases) and I can charge at 16amps x 248 volts 3900watt! And there’s still that nema 5-15 connector in case it’s your only option! Strongly recommend! 2024 Tesla Y rwd LR

Anyone that owns one of these cars know the stress of the that comes along with the range, especially during the winter months. Since chargers are no longer provided at purchase I decided to buy one to carry along with my and charge whenever I get a change. I liked this one because it's small and portable and functions on both a regular 120 plug and 240. The 120 is nice because I can find it anywhere but it's so slow. Level 2 on the other hand is great. I get the charge I need for my daily commute in just a few hours. No special requirements besides the 240 plug. The wire is thick to accommodate the high amperage and didn't notice any overheating. I've been using it daily since my job has now plugs in the parking lot and so far it has been reliable

I bought this last minute before heading to visit my brother in mountains. There were no superchargers nearby, so I wanted to make sure I had a way to charge my MYP while we were visiting. No issues so far. I even had the chance to use it in the rain and temps in 20s. It performed as expected.

I use this when I stay at friends or at short term rentals, I use 110 v to charge overnight, or most of time, the house I stay has electric dryer, I bought the Nema 10-30P Dryer Plug to Nema 6-20R Adapter (I wish the portable charger comes with this adapter, but it is not expensive), to plug into 220v dryer plug, with this long cord, it is so much easier than going to charge station after a long day. It is super handy with my road trip.

I love how easy this item is to use and install. The material quality is amazing and durable. It was able to fully charge my car faster than any other charger. Overall it’s a great product that I would recommend for any electric car user.

Tesla has stopped equipping the charger with new vehicles which is terrible to its customer. And things are even worse to those who has to commute between remote sites from time to time. I always carry the charger in the car which is not very convenient. Although charging stations are everywhere, they are not very favorable, not only because the double of the price, but also for the good of battery itself. It says that the lifetime of batteries in electrical car especially Tesla can be significantly extended if they are charged/discharge properly. Say, not fully charged nor completely discharged, but use only around half of the capacity. More specifically, use current as low as possible when charging. And this conclusion is supported by research articles. So, this Christmas when I pick the secondary charger for the car to use in office, I looked for one with lower current and easier connector but not the big NEMA 14-50 plugs. After weeks, the one worked so far so well. 16 A can meet most of my needs. The price is ok and the cable is long enough. It also has an additional converter to plug into normal wall receptacle, which charges on 2% an hour.By the way, many old houses have 240 V outlet but with only 3 wires no GND. Many chargers won’t work in that condition, which is quite silly.

Don’t leave home without it. Stores easily in included case and the 120/240 V option is very helpful. Obviously it charges slowly compared to a home charger but for a long weekend at the in-laws, it’s more than enough to get you back to a full charge just using 15AMP/120V.

The product works fine and is of satisfactory quality. It comes with a carry bag that is poorly constructed and quite likely to have a zipper failure. It’s a shame that they didn’t invest in a better zipper and use some quality control. In addition, the zipper is rough. In my past experiences with similar bags, the zipper fails in short order. Note that when charging on a, say, 15 A circuit, you can only draw 80% or 12 A for a continuous charge without tripping the circuit breaker or burning out the fuse. That’s a general rule that comes straight from my experience and my master electrician.
