Like the product, very well built. I like that the screen automatically turns on when you walk by. So you can see what it’s doing. Charges my vehicle a whole lot faster than the one it came with. Simple to use, plug and play!Cons : I use it to charge a Chevy Silverado WT EV and I can’t register it in the app because it is not listed in the vehicle drop down screen. Only a couple Chevy’s are, none of the 2024/2025 models.

I was very excited about buying this unit. I loved the BIG LCD that displayed detailed information. When you receive the unit, there's a cover to ADJUST the MAX AMP draw in the back. I adjusted the DIP switches to match 40 amps max and hooked everything up. Hooked my car and to my surprise it started pulling 47 AMP! In short bursts, that's ok, but a 14-50 connected should not be running at 47 AMP's steady.I powered everything off and verified that the unit was setup correctly in the back and it was. I then used the software (make sure to connect the 2.4G wifi, the 5G does not work) and I put the limit there. That worked, my cars dont pull over 40 AMP's but now im relying on software instead of hardware. If you have yours installed make sure you are not pulling over 45 AMP's.

Pros:Fast 40A Charging output 9.6kwNice All-in-one housing with lighted plug holderJ1772 Connector25FT CableETL ListedCon:The App is useless and doesn’t worth wasting precious space on your mobile device.Every other EV charger comes with a decent mobile app that shows not only current status but also historical data on charging cycles, cost, and multiple schedules, etc.Also the App is already outdated right out of the box. It doesn’t have a 2023 vehicle even though I bought the charger in Nov 2024 and have tried repeatedly to update the App yet no change.I end up using my car’s mobile apps instead.I will not recommend this unit as-is. I regret not going for Wolfbox unit that was $50 cheaper than this unit and comes with a better mobile app that shows everything.Conclusion: Buyer beware, you are only buying a nice charging unit without a usable companion app.

This EV charger’s mobile app has been super helpful for tracking energy use in kWh and estimating charging costs, making it easier to keep tabs on spending. While not the fastest on the market, it provides a reliable, consistent charge and is quicker than my previous chargers.
